St. Louis offers both horse racing and casino gambling.

Riverboat gambling casinos are located on the water near the Arch and Laclede's Landing.  The President Casino is on the St. Louis bank of the Mississippi, and the Casino Queen is located on the other side of the river in East St. Louis.  There is also a Harrah's and Station Casino outside of town.

If you want to play the ponies, head for Fairmount Park.  The track is located about 15 minutes East of St. Louis in Collinsville, IL.  Live thoroughbred racing is held Tuesdays and weekends from Mid-March through December.
