| Tampa's nightlife and diverse fare is comparable to the former city of New Orleans. Lots of beautiful and many exotic looking women on the night scene. Bucs football alone is worth a 9!!

| Come on, it's in Florida, on the water, near beautiful beaches. Culture is everywhere, please stay in Boston if you disagree. TB Performing Arts Center, Tampa Theatre, and lots of great music and food.

| So, I was just down in Tampa this past weekend to watch the Rangers play the Lightning. Ybor City has tons of places, but holy crap are the people trashy. I've never seen more fat chicks wearing skimpy outfits in my life. Hoochie-Momma central. Channelside isn't a bad alternative to Ybor. Just hop the trolley for $2. Some good bars and restaurants down there, too. As for the sports, the Tampa fans didn't seem to know a whole heck of a lot about hockey, not as much as New Yorkers, anyway, but they were into their team which is cool.

| Will be visiting Tampa on 9/24 searched for things to do and didn't find many choices. Coming from Boston, Tampa needs to develop their cultural events if they'd like to attract more tourists!

| Previous poster has got to be kidding. I am just the opposite as I lived in Ft. Lauderdale and now reside in Tampa. Ft. Lauderdale cannot compare. Tampa has so much more to offer. Ft. Lauderdale is nothing but a tourist trap. Great to visit, but not to live.
