downtown. Tickets can be hard to find, but not always overly so.

Maryland Terrapins
Maryland plays football and basketball games on-campus in
College Park, north of the city. Football tickets can be purchased
through the school, but basketball tickets are sold only to season ticket
holders.
Some non-ACC games may be available, but your best bet is to buy from a
scalper; expect to pay a premium for ACC rivals like Duke and North Carolina,
other games can be had at more reasonable prices.

Georgetown Hoyas
Georgetown plays it basketball games at the Verizon Center.
Tickets are generally easy to get. Georgetown is only Division IAA for
football, so tickets are not a problem. Call the school at 202-687-HOYA

DC United
DC United, Washington's MLS team, plays its home games at
RFK Stadium. Tickets are easy to come by, just call them at
703-478-6600, or call TicketMaster at 202-432-SEAT.
