My lobster was delicious, the concierge directed me to the best steak east of the Mississippi, my martini at Lasalle Grill was superb, and Notre Dame will conquer the world of football this fall.

Between the Buns is a great sports bar in the South Bend area. It is within walking distance of Notre Dame and the stadium. TV's in every booth and sports memorabilia on the walls makes Between the Buns the ultimate sports bar in South Bend.

Spent a couple days there on a raod trip a few summers ago, it was on my way back from Chicago. Basicvally stopped there for the College Football HOF, which was very unimpressive. I was there in the summer, so there wasnt much going on, no school so it didnt look like there were any students hanging around. I'm sure during football season this town is crazy though.

Yikes! Awful rundown strip of a town with all the charm of a truck stop. Looks and feels scary. The sports scene is overwhelmed by (duh!)you-know-what, and that can just be too condescending a world. Underwhelming.

Unless you're orgasmic for Irish football,this trip will be a real let down. Remove ND and South Bend is a nothing town in the midwest. ND adds a bit but not too high caliber.
