Madtown and a fine town. Don't miss 40 Watt Club (make sure you go with someone who lasts longer than two songs from the performing band). Look out for bull dozers on Broad Street.

Athens, GA is a great time if you want to catch some SEC football. Its obviously a college town, so the food is decent and fairly cheap, the bars are packed and open late, and there are always games on TV. You can get tickets to football, the price goes up depending on the game. But the stadium is so big that there are plenty available on the street. Athens is about an hour from Atlanta, so its easy to get to for really good football.
