Bratwurst No tailgate is complete without some sort of sausage, whether it be a bratwurst, a Polish, or an Italian sausage. You may choose to pre-cook your brats, or you can grill them at the tailgate. Be warned, you'll have to keep a close eye on them if you don't pre-cook, or you'll burn the brats before they cook through.
