Burgers with the Blues

(makes about 15-20 small burgers)

Time Required:  Less than one hour

Skill Required:  Minimal cooking skills needed

Ingredients:

  • 2 Lbs. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. crumbled bleu cheese
  • 4 scallions (green onions) diced thinly
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1 egg beaten

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Shape into patties and grill.
  • Serve on potato rolls.

Be careful not to flip burgers too often as they will fall apart if overhandled. Freezing the patties before grilling will also help to keep the burgers together.
